We strive to work with you to make a track that we will all be proud of - something that ensures you sound at your absolute best. We will do our best to make your dream a reality whether you’re a Karaoke performer looking to take the next step or a seasoned musician looking for a professional sounding demo.

We offer the following services:

	‘Limitless’ number of audio tracks can be recorded, played back and mixed prior to final stereo production.
	Up to 16 tracks of live performance can be recorded at once.
	Production/technical assistance.
	Backing arrangements can be provided.
	All productions come with a free MP3 version, making it easy to email to anyone.
	Full digital production – never leave the digital environment.
	Use our studio for rehearsal – we are affordable enough to use as a rehearsal venue (where you can even take a recording of how your rehearsal sounds).
	Mac G4/Digi Design Pro Tools software/Digidesign Digi002R for hire – allows you to record in the comfort of your own home (or garage).
	Studio lessons – learn how to use the studio and then do your own productions at a lower rate.

Our equipment:

	While much of recording a great track is about the creative input, it helps to have the right tools at your disposal, so here’s what we have to help you…
	Mac G5 dual processor
	Digital recording/sequencing software  - Pro Tools and Digital Performer
	Analogue to Digital interfaces -  Digidesign Digi002R, MOTU 896HD and Focusrite Octopre (gives up to 16 x XLR studio grade inputs simultaneously).
	Mackie HUI (Human User Interface) - digital mixing desk.
	Tannoy Little Gold Studio Monitors
	Motu Midi Time Piece (MTP/AV) – Midi interface/sync, video and audio sync.
	Numerous software-based sound processing options and Alesis hardware based FX.
	A huge range of backing instruments available including; Korg Extreme, Korg i30, Rhodes M760, DigiDesign SampleCells and Roland JV1080.
	A great range of microphones including; Neumann TLM103, AKG C418s, AKG D112, AKG C1000Ss, AKG D330BT, Shure SM57, SamsonC03

Our Rates:

	Hire the studio and do it yourself - $50/hr.
	Hire the studio with production/technical assistance (& lessons if required) - $75/hr.
	Lessons on using the studio - $30/hour.
	Hire home studio (Mac G4/Digi002R/Pro Tools software/2 x Mics) - $75/day.
	… ask about our fixed rate project costs, which we will tailor to meet your production needs and budget.

Please note:    A prepayment of $20 is required to reserve your studio booking (eg. If you book the studio for two hours @ $50 – prepay $20 with balance of $80 to pay at the end of the session). We can email or fax you a booking form to return to us.  See our contact details below.

To make the most of your session, it is helpful to consider the following:

	Decide what assistance you will need in advance, and let us know before the session.  This will allow us to focus on the creative aspects of the performance while you are here. For example, do you intend to perform an original piece or a cover?  Do you need any backing tracks created or organised for you?
	Do you have any vision of how you would like your track to sound, or do you want to live in the creative moment?
	How many musicians are coming, and what instruments will they be bringing?
	Are you looking for a ‘live’ feel, or do you want to lay down the tracks separately?
	To what extent do you want to be involved in the production process – the level of input in this area is entirely up to you.
